The start of the new year (albeit arbitrary...) prompts most people to feel that the upcoming 12 months are rife with possibility for change and improvement. I count myself in this group of people and have my share of resolutions for 2007:
1) Maintain health through nutritious and controlled eating and regular excercise.
2) Keep in touch with my friends and family more regularly.
Thus, I have decided to give blogging another go (to fulfill resolution #2, of course...) and through this new blog hopefully I'll be able to share my experiences with everyone better. I've been having a lot of difficulty posting pictures on my online photo album and had been getting lazy about sending out emails, so this is the ideal solution. There are a lot of pictures and stories to catch you up on, so I'll be making retrospective posts for those.
Happy New Year to everyone, and I hope this year brings you happiness, health, and maybe even a little adventure and prosperity, but always, always possibility. If someone had told me a year ago that I would be living in Japan, I probably would have laughed at them. But I'm here, and I sincerely want to thank everyone who encouraged me, supported me, listened to me while I fretted about what to do, and promised they would visit. I wouldn't be here without you, and I'm so grateful. I also really miss you all a lot, and hope this post finds you all doing well.
So...hopefully I can keep this up! I'm going to try my best. Enjoy!
